Accounts Manager – Part Time

Cloud Accounting

Hemingway Bailey are a growing accountancy practice who are fully cloud based who were the Intuit Quickbooks Firm of the Future UK winners for 2016 and who have a great reputation for developing their team.

The role will evolve over time as the business grows but initially we want someone who can look after the day to day side of the accountancy practice and be responsible for the accounts preparation and tax returns for our clients. Our team is very important to us and one of your key roles will be the development of a small team who want to learn from you and achieve academic success in their professional exams.

We are always looking for improvement in the business and so the right person will be one who challenges what we do and who wants to improve the business and the client experience. Internationally we have a positive reputation for our uMobile Appse of the latest software and so the successful person will gain new insights into what the new software can do for them.

Even though we are an accountancy practice, we do not restrict ourselves to candidates who have solely worked in practice, if you are currently working in industry and you are about to qualify or are newly qualified, we would be happy to speak to you.

Qualification wise we are looking for candidates who are studying ACA / ACCA / CIMA or are newly qualified in those qualifications. The right person will have a minimum of 3 years experience in an accountancy role.

All our business clients get Quickbooks Online for free within their packages and so you will quickly become an expert in the software. Do not worry if you have not used it before, the team are great trainers and you will soon be an expert. Quickbooks BeverleyWe use other great software such as Google Apps, Karbon, Taxfiler & Autoentry. if you have not used these before that is not a barrier to us, what is important to us is the willingness to embrace change and to always look for improvement.
